A new exhibition celebrating 30 years of Rosana’s music opened yesterday at La Casa Amarilla in Lanzarote. Titled “Las sAlas de Arte, by Rosana. 30 años de Lunas Rotas,” the show highlights the singer-songwriter’s journey since her debut album “Lunas Rotas,” released in 1996, which earned her international acclaim.
The exhibition, running until November, has been sponsored by the Lanzarote Cabildo’s Data Centre and is produced by OMOW. It provides an immersive experience, allowing visitors to engage with Rosana’s creative world through various multimedia displays, including music videos, lyrics, and photographs from her tours. Attendees can even sit on a replica of the album cover or attend intimate concerts within the exhibit.
Special collaboration by sculptors Rigoberto Camacho and Jorge Martín Martel adds a further artistic dimension. The exhibition also features an audiovisual room showcasing her docuseries and interactive workshops, leaving room for unexpected surprises about Rosana’s future projects.
During the opening event, Rosana surprised guests with a mini-concert alongside her regular percussionist, Joaquín Migallón, performing several of her beloved songs.
Ascensión Toledo, the councillor for the Data Centre, expressed pride in recognizing Rosana as a key international artist from Lanzarote, highlighting the hard work and dedication that have shaped her career. Arrecife’s Deputy Mayor Echedey Eugenio also encouraged residents to visit the exhibition, emphasising Rosana’s status as a beloved local figure.
Rosana remarked that the exhibition is designed for participation rather than passive viewing, with evolving displays that promise to engage and delight visitors.
The exhibition can be visited at La Casa Amarilla until November 2026, with free admission. Opening hours are Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 14:00 and 14:30 to 18:00, and Saturday from 10:00 to 14:00; it remains closed on Sundays and public holidays.
