A 31-year-old man is in critical condition following a serious motorcycle accident on Saturday in Guía de Isora, Tenerife. The incident occurred around 11:36 am on the TF-465 road, near the entrance to Vera de Erques. The Canary Islands emergency services, CECOES 112, received an alert about a motorcycle leaving the road.
In response, a large emergency team was deployed, including personnel from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) who arrived with a basic life support ambulance, a medicalised ambulance, and a helicopter that landed nearby.
Medical staff assessed the motorcyclist and found he had sustained severe multiple trauma. After stabilising him at the scene, they airlifted him urgently to the helipad at Hospital Universitario Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria for specialised care.
The operation also involved the Civil Guard, who secured the area, managed traffic to assist the emergency services, and prepared an official report on the accident’s circumstances. Meanwhile, the Tenerife Road Maintenance Service cleaned the roadway to restore normal conditions and safety.
