Temperatures are set to drop significantly across the islands this Thursday, with mostly clear skies in the south. While a strong trade wind will prevail, light and occasional drizzle is expected in the north and northeast during the afternoon, according to Aemet.
Maritime conditions will feature north or northwest winds at force 4 or 5, temporarily increasing to force 6 in the southeastern and far northwestern regions, creating rough seas. In the northeast, winds will be 3 or 4, with moderate swell. Meanwhile, the southwest will see variable winds of 1 to 3, resulting in a slight swell, and northern swells will reach 1 to 2 meters.
Lanzarote
Expect partly cloudy skies, mainly clear in the south, with a low chance of light drizzle in the north towards the end of the day. Temperatures will decrease, notably in highs in the southern slopes. There will be occasional strong winds in the interior during the first half of the day.

Gran Canaria
The north will be cloudy with a chance of light, occasional rain, especially in the midlands later in the day. The rest of the island will see mostly clear skies, with some clouds developing in the south. Temperatures will fall, particularly in the interior, with strong winds and the possibility of very strong gusts in the southeast and northwest slopes.

Tenerife
