An 82-year-old driver was seriously injured on Saturday evening after crashing his vehicle onto the roof of a house near Carretera Nueva La Corujera in Santa Úrsula, Tenerife.

Emergency services were alerted, and the Canarian Emergency Services (SUC) arrived to treat the man, who suffered significant injuries. He was stabilised at the scene and then transported by ambulance to the University Hospital of the Canary Islands.
Firefighters secured the overturned vehicle and freed the trapped driver. Local police, along with the General Police of the Canary Islands and the Civil Guard, cordoned off the area and assisted with the emergency response, which also included Civil Protection.
