A man has died following a fire that broke out early this morning in a property in Telde, Gran Canaria, as reported by 1-1-2 Canarias.

Emergency services were alerted to the blaze shortly after 1 am at a location on Tabaibal Street. Firefighters from the Gran Canaria Emergency Consortium arrived to extinguish the flames and located a man inside the building.
Medical personnel confirmed the man’s death upon arrival at the scene. The National Police have initiated an investigation, while local police assisted other emergency services.
