Majoreros Solidarios Announces Closure After Six Years of Service
Majoreros Solidarios has announced the difficult decision to close its operations after six years of dedicated service in the community. The organisation will complete some final tasks and maintain a section for school supplies in Librería Tagoror, where donations can be made directly for families referred by social workers. Their social media accounts will remain active to share job offers and urgent needs.
During its six years, Majoreros Solidarios has been a vital support for many individuals and families, providing essential assistance and fostering a culture of solidarity. However, the past year has been particularly challenging due to aggressive behaviour from some users, highlighting the difficulties that can arise in humanitarian work.
The organisation extended its heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported them, especially Mahucu Humanitaria and Adisfuer, for their contributions of food that helped families in need. They also recognised local schools for teaching children the values of empathy and community spirit through fundraising events.
Majoreros Solidarios also expressed gratitude to volunteers and local businesses that believed in their mission, as well as political parties for coming together to support community goals.
