A Binter Canarias flight bound for Fuerteventura was diverted to Gran Canaria Airport on Sunday evening after a technical problem occurred while flying from Tenerife North.
Flight NT994, operated by an ATR 72-600, took off at 8:37 PM but redirected to Gran Canaria as a precautionary measure due to a reported engine issue. Fortunately, the plane landed safely without incident.
Passengers were informed of the situation and, after a brief wait at Gran Canaria Airport, were able to board another flight to Fuerteventura, allowing them to complete their journey without further complications.
