Water Supply Disruption in Northern Fuerteventura After Pipe Break
Work crews from the Water Supply Consortium of Fuerteventura (CAAF) are addressing a pipe break that has impacted water supply in the northern region, particularly affecting La Oliva. The break, which occurred accidentally during unrelated construction work, happened on Monday afternoon and has caused significant supply interruptions.
Residents in the areas of Puerto Lajas, La Oliva, Tindaya, Esquinzo, Villaverde, Lajares, El Roque, El Cotillo, and Majanicho may experience water cuts as a result.
The CAAF team is currently on-site making repairs, with hopes to complete the work on Monday. However, it will take additional time for the water supply to stabilise as levels are restored.
