New Business Hub to Launch in Morro Jable
The Fuerteventura Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with the Pájara Town Council, will officially open the Morro Jable Chamber Hub on Tuesday, 28 July. This facility aims to provide local businesses, freelancers, and entrepreneurs in southern Fuerteventura with easy access to vital services and resources.
In May, the Chamber and the Town Council signed a partnership agreement in Morro Jable to establish this hub, enhancing business support in the region. The agreement was signed by Pájara Mayor Alejandro Jorge Moreno and Juan Jesús Rodríguez Marichal, President of the Fuerteventura Chamber of Commerce. They were joined by Juan José Viera, Pájara’s Councillor for Commerce, in a ceremony highlighting the commitment of both institutions to support the local business community.
The new hub strives to be a go-to resource for freelancers, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and aspiring entrepreneurs, offering guidance on services like training, digitalisation, international trade, and assistance with grants and subsidies.
Mayor Jorge emphasised the Town Council’s goal of bringing services closer to the public and highlighted the Chamber of Commerce’s role as a crucial entity for promoting entrepreneurship and supporting local SMEs.
