Pájara Celebrates Latin Music Legends with Grand Salsa Tribute
Pájara will host one of the summer’s standout music events this evening, the Grand Tribute to the Gods of Salsa. The celebration, part of the festivities for Our Lady of Regla, will kick off at 10:00 PM in the Plaza de Nuestra Señora de Regla, turning the town into a hub for Latin rhythms.
The night will focus on salsa music, drawing in dance enthusiasts, locals, and visitors alike, creating a lively atmosphere where social interaction will be as important as the musical performances. Organisers anticipate a large crowd eager to honour legendary figures of the genre, including Celia Cruz, Óscar D’León, Rubén Blades, Willie Colón, and Gilberto Santa Rosa.
Performing on stage will be international artists such as Virginia Guantanamera, Yamil Quijada, Stanley Adamo, and Néstor González, with live musicians directed by Maestro Wilmer Rodríguez. The repertoire will feature some of salsa’s greatest hits, which continue to energise dance floors worldwide.
Beyond the concert, the event promotes community spirit, where different generations can come together and share their love for Latin music. The plaza will be transformed into a vast outdoor dance floor, complete with couples dancing and salsa enthusiasts ready to enjoy a unique evening during the patronal festivities.
