A 37-year-old man has been injured in a traffic accident on the TF-1 motorway in southern Tenerife this afternoon. The incident occurred when his motorcycle collided with a car between the Los Cristianos and Guaza junctions, heading towards Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
Emergency services received the alert at 4:17 PM and quickly dispatched resources to the scene. The Canarian Emergency Medical Service sent an ambulance to assess and assist the motorcyclist, who had sustained moderate injuries. After being stabilised, he was taken to the Southern Hospital for further treatment.
The Guardia Civil also attended the scene, securing the area, managing traffic to minimise delays on one of the island’s main roads, and preparing a report to investigate the accident’s causes.
