Arrecife en Vivo Festival Set to Start on 5th September
The countdown is on for the highly anticipated Arrecife en Vivo festival, which will kick off on Saturday, 5th September, in the capital of Lanzarote. This year, the festival promises to delight music lovers with 30 free concerts across six unforgettable days.
The theme “Without Music, There’s No Way” reflects the festival’s commitment to showcasing talent. Headlining artists this year include M-Clan, Chambao, Evaristo, Def Con Dos, and O´Funk´Illo. New talents such as Dyatlov, Adora, Laiv, and Ángel Carmona will also grace the stage.
The first day of the festival will focus solely on local talent, with a vibrant atmosphere throughout the capital. Following this, parades will take place on the 18th and 25th of September, as well as the 2nd and 9th of October, linking the four main festival locations: Plaza de la Constitución, Charco de San Ginés, Marina Lanzarote, and Muelle de Cruceros.
The festival will conclude on Saturday, 10th October, by celebrating the island’s musical heritage during the morning.
In addition, aspiring musicians have until 4th September to apply for the Cajasiete stage. The chosen act will join the official lineup and receive a fee of €3,000. So far, over 40 applications have been submitted.
Arrecife en Vivo is produced by Hsmith Solutions and is officially sponsored by the Tourism Department of Arrecife City Council, receiving support from various institutions including the Cabildo of Lanzarote.
