Rosana has launched her exhibition, “Las sAlas de Arte, by Rosana: 30 Years of Lunas Rotas,” at La Casa Amarilla. This showcase celebrates the 30th anniversary of her debut album, “Lunas Rotas,” released in 1996, which brought her international acclaim.
The exhibition, which opened yesterday, features her music videos, song lyrics, album covers, some of her favourite instruments, photos from her tours, and audiovisual projections. It is set to run until November and is sponsored by the Lanzarote Cabildo Data Centre and La Graciosa, with design and production by OMOW.
More than just a celebration of her music, the exhibition offers a deep dive into Rosana’s personal and professional journey, with interactive elements designed to engage visitors. Attendees can take photos on the cover of “Lunas Rotas,” attend intimate concerts, and explore the space where Rosana composes. A highlight includes a 3D figure that allows fans to feel like part of her story.
The exhibition also features contributions from sculptors Rigoberto Camacho and Jorge Martín Martel, adding to its artistic depth. There will be a multimedia room showcasing her docuseries, interactive workshops, and a few surprises regarding her future projects.
During the opening, Rosana treated attendees to an impromptu concert alongside her usual percussionist, Joaquín Migallón, performing several of her songs and captivating the crowd.
Attending the event were local officials, including Ascensión Toledo, the Cabildo Data Centre councillor, who expressed pride in recognising one of Lanzarote’s most renowned artists. She encouraged residents to visit the exhibition, highlighting Rosana’s talent and dedication.
Echedey Eugenio, the deputy mayor of Arrecife, celebrated Rosana as the city’s beloved daughter and invited residents to appreciate her ongoing musical journey through the exhibition.
Rosana herself noted that the exhibition is designed for experience over explanation, with evolving displays and “unexpected encounters” planned throughout its run. She thanked the audience for their support and the Lanzarote Cabildo for helping bring this project to life.
The exhibition will be open to the public until November 2026, with free admission. Opening hours are Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 14:00 and 14:30 to 18:00, and Saturdays from 10:00 to 14:00. It will be closed on Sundays and holidays.
