Six-Year-Old Football Star Hugo Viera Hernández Claims Award
Hugo Viera Hernández, a lively six-year-old from Tenerife, has been awarded the David Limones prize for best player from the previous season by his football club, Llamoro. This is a significant recognition for a child who has already netted an impressive 36 goals in his pre-benjamín category, including five hat-tricks.
Hugo’s father, Vladi, who previously coached him, believes his son has a bright future ahead, along with his older brother, Thiago, 11, who is also a talented player. The Llamoro organisation is now aligned with C.D. Tenerife, and Vladi expresses hope for greater support from them beyond just equipment donations.
