A driver who tested positive for alcohol collided with an advertising panel and a tree in La Minilla, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, on Saturday morning. The crash caused significant damage to urban furniture and uprooted part of the shrubbery.

Las Palmas Local Police shared images of the incident on social media, stating that they “speak for themselves,” highlighting that the collision occurred “at high speed” and “could have resulted in a tragedy.”
Despite the extensive damage, authorities confirmed that the driver escaped unhurt. The police reiterated a key message: “At the wheel, 0 alcohol.”
