A five-year-old boy is in serious condition following a drowning incident at a hotel pool in Puerto del Carmen. The emergency occurred around 6:12 PM on Friday, prompting a response from the emergency services.

The emergency coordination centre received alerts that the child had been rescued from the pool with signs of drowning. Two ambulances, one equipped for advanced medical care, along with local police and the Civil Guard, were dispatched to the scene.
Medical personnel assessed the boy’s condition and provided assistance before transporting him in critical condition to Molina Orosa Hospital. Meanwhile, police have begun the necessary investigations into the incident.
