A woman in her fifties was injured on Thursday after her scooter collided with a bus on a busy street in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, as reported by the 1-1-2 emergency services.

The Canarian Emergency and Security Coordinating Centre received an alert regarding the incident on Eduardo Benot Street, where the woman required medical assistance.
Emergency responders evaluated her condition at the scene and found she had sustained multiple moderate contusions. She was subsequently transported by ambulance to the Insular University Hospital of Gran Canaria for further treatment.
Local police are conducting an investigation into the accident.
