TITSA Increases Line 363 Capacity for Garachico’s San Roque Pilgrimage
On Sunday, August 16, public transport company TITSA will operate a special service to accommodate the San Roque Pilgrimage in Garachico, providing an additional 23,000 seats on Line 363, which connects Puerto de la Cruz, Icod de los Vinos, Garachico, Los Silos, and Buenavista.
The service will run from 9:30 AM until 11:00 PM, with the last bus leaving Garachico for Puerto de la Cruz and Buenavista. Last year, over 13,100 passengers used this line for the event, which has been designated as a National Tourist Interest.
Eulalia García, the Councillor for Mobility at the Cabildo of Tenerife, noted the increased capacity and extended service hours aim to help residents and visitors travel safely and conveniently to Garachico, especially given the expected high traffic levels.
During the festivities, regular bus stops in Garachico will be closed, with all TITSA routes directed to a temporary stop located in the car park next to the football pitch.
Vehicle access on the TF-42 road may be restricted between kilometres 0 and 7.8 if significant traffic delays occur; however, public transportation and freight vehicles will receive priority.
