Rafael Nadal Unveils New Hotel in Fuerteventura
Tennis star Rafael Nadal officially launched the new ZEL hotel, developed by Meliá Hotels International and Nadal himself, on the island of Fuerteventura. The hotel is situated on Playa de Sotavento in the Pájara municipality and opened its doors in May, alongside the Paradisus by Meliá Fuerteventura.
The hotel features 142 rooms and suites with direct beach access, an infinity pool, and expansive open areas. Guests can enjoy a variety of dining options, including Café de Finca for coffee and cocktails, the PARDA restaurant offering Mediterranean cuisine with local produce, and the Voltaje bar located near the reception.
Local officials, keen to show their support, attended the event and posed for photos with Nadal, marking this as the fourth luxury hotel collaboration between Nadal and Meliá.
