Las Palmas de Gran Canaria Awards €10 Million Contract for Cultural Activities
Las Palmas de Gran Canaria has awarded a contract worth over €10 million for sociocultural activities in public centres. The funding will support various initiatives across the city’s educational facilities and community services.
A significant portion, more than €5.6 million, is allocated to the Popular University for educational workshops and community events. Additionally, over €4.5 million will go towards programmes directly within local schools, aimed at enriching the educational experience.
The council highlighted the importance of these investments in fostering social integration and promoting cultural engagement among residents. This move reflects the city’s commitment to enhancing community life through accessible cultural and educational opportunities.
