A 43-year-old Moroccan man sustained a serious head injury after falling on rocks at Playa Blanca, Yaiza, around 9.30pm on Friday. Emergency services received an alert from the Emergency Coordination Centre (CECOES) and dispatched firefighters to the scene on Irlanda Street.

Upon arrival, paramedics found local police officers attending to the injured man. After assessing his condition, the medical team stabilised him and transported him to Hospital Doctor José Molina Orosa for further treatment.
