An emotional moment marked this year’s Regional Romería as the images of San Benito Abad, the protector of Tenerife’s fields, and San Cristóbal, the patron saint of the municipality, came together in a powerful display of symbolism. This event reinforced La Laguna’s commitment to its traditions, roots, and deep Christian heritage.
The highlight of the occasion was a poignant song performed by the talented Iván Quintana, with support from Cristina Déniz, a local singer, cattle farmer, and the leading Romera. Their heartfelt voices resonated with the thousands of participants:
