Adeje Signs Employment Agreement with Satocan Group
The Adeje Council has reinforced its commitment to job creation and employability by signing a collaboration agreement with Grupo Satocan Corporate SL. This initiative aims to connect unemployed residents of Adeje and Tenerife with employment opportunities generated by the company.
The agreement was signed by Mercedes Vargas Delgado, Councillor for Economic Promotion and Employment, and Judith Vega Martínez, Director of Human Resources at Grupo Satocan.
Vargas highlighted the importance of establishing direct pathways between citizens and businesses. “One of our priorities is to provide Adeje residents with real tools to efficiently access the job market. Partnerships like this with Grupo Satocan allow us to channel local talent directly, responding swiftly to the demand for qualified personnel in key sectors of our economy such as tourism, industry, and construction.”
As part of the collaboration, the Council will provide Grupo Satocan access to its employment database, “Adeje Global,” along with municipal spaces as needed, particularly the Costa Adeje Tourist Development Centre (CDTCA).
In return, Grupo Satocan will regularly inform the Council of its job openings and required professional profiles, facilitating a quicker response to labour market needs.
With a considerable background in managing and overseeing businesses in critical sectors like tourism, construction, and industry, Grupo Satocan is committed to promoting equal opportunities between men and women through joint initiatives.
The agreement is set to last for an initial four years, with an option for a further extension of four years.
