Fuenlabrada is set to host its Patron Saint Festivities from 11 to 17 September, featuring concerts, local groups, fireworks, and activities for all ages.
This annual celebration promises to enliven the city with music and tradition. The new Fair Park will be a key venue, home to attractions, stalls, and numerous concerts, showcasing popular national artists such as M-Clan, El Drogas, Los Delinqüentes, Los Chunguitos, Celtas Cortos, Hoke, and Juicy Bae.
Festivities kick off on Friday with a traditional chocolate event for the elderly and a rock concert featuring M-Clan, El Drogas, and local band A Tiro. In the following days, additional shows and performances will cater to varied age groups.
A highlight of the week will be on Sunday, 13 September, with the traditional Parade of Local Groups at 17:30, bringing music and vibrancy through the streets. Later, at 21:00, Esmeralda Manzanas, the first dancer of the Antonio Gades Company, will deliver the opening speech from the old Town Hall in Plaza de España.
The evening will conclude with a much-anticipated fireworks display at 23:59 from La Pollina.
Music remains the focus throughout the week, with Celtas Cortos performing on 15 September and the Orquesta París de Noia on 16 September, among other musical and festive offerings.
To assist with transport, the local council is providing free shuttle buses between the town centre and the fairground from 11 to 18 September, aiming to reduce private vehicle use and improve access to main events.
With a diverse programme that combines music, tradition, community involvement, and activities for all generations, Fuenlabrada’s Patron Saint Festivities aim to be one of the major social events in the month of September.
