Public transport services in Lanzarote will offer special arrangements during the 2026 Fiestas de Nuestra Señora de Los Dolores. The plan includes additional bus services to facilitate travel to Mancha Blanca and returns to various municipalities on the island, particularly during the Romería on 12 September and for events on 15 September.
On the day of the Romería, there will be 22 buses running between Arrecife and Mancha Blanca from 12:00 to 23:00, approximately every 30 minutes. Return services will start at 13:00 and continue until 05:00 the following day. Departure and arrival points may change depending on traffic conditions and road closures during the celebrations.
Buses heading to Mancha Blanca will operate until 16:00 and resume at 23:00. Between 16:00 and 22:00, buses will serve Tinguatón, with temporary stops established there. Return journeys will follow a similar pattern, starting at either Mancha Blanca or Tinguatón depending on traffic.
On 15 September, the day of Our Lady of Sorrows, special services will also run. Return journeys from Mancha Blanca for the Merengazo will be scheduled at 03:30 and 04:00, with potential for more trips if demand increases. Religious services will have buses departing from Arrecife at 08:00 and 10:00, with return trips at 10:15 and 15:30.
The programming includes a concert by Malú, with buses leaving Arrecife for Mancha Blanca at 18:00 and 20:00, returning at 23:30 and midnight, also with the possibility of additional journeys if needed.
Additionally, a temporary taxi service zone will be set up in Tinajo on 12 September from 21:00 to 05:00 and on 14 September from 23:00 to 05:00 on 15 September. This will allow the Tinajo Council to request taxis from other municipalities when local availability is low and demand is high. The Cabildo advises checking schedules and potential changes due to traffic and event organisation before travelling.
