Traffic Restrictions Announced for Rally Isla de los Volcanes 2026
The Tías Town Council has announced temporary road closures in the municipality on Friday, 7 August, from 2:15 PM to 8:25 PM for the upcoming Rally Isla de los Volcanes 2026.
Residents and drivers are asked to follow posted signs, adhere to instructions from officials, and use alternative routes during this period.
The roads affected include the Puerto Calero road, Hoya Limpia path, the Mácher to Puerto del Carmen road (LZ-504), and the LZ-40 between the roundabout connecting Puerto del Carmen and Puerto Calero and the intersection with the Puerto del Carmen to Tías road (LZ-505).
The rally will take place from 5 to 8 August across various locations in Lanzarote, featuring 43 teams. Out of these, 32 will compete for points in the Super Championship of Spain, while 11 will contend for the Canary Islands and Las Palmas provincial championships.
