Emergency Services Rescue Man from Near-Drowning in Corralejo

On Sunday afternoon, local police from La Oliva took part in an emergency operation following the near-drowning of a 45-year-old man at a beach in Corralejo.
The man was pulled from the water by bystanders before emergency services were activated. The Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC), along with lifeguards from La Oliva, provided immediate assistance and stabilised his condition.
He was then taken by basic life support ambulance to the General Hospital of Fuerteventura for further evaluation. Local police collaborated with various emergency teams at the scene.
