Twenty-Three New Police Officers Join Puerto del Rosario Force

On 1st July, twenty-three newly qualified national police officers were welcomed at the Puerto del Rosario police station in Fuerteventura. Alongside them, two experienced officers and three additional police personnel who have chosen the island as their posting also joined the team.
Maria Jesús de La Cruz, the island’s state administration director, expressed confidence that these new recruits will enhance the service provided to the public. In mid-July, the force is set to receive an additional twelve trainee officers.
De La Cruz hopes these additions will continue to improve safety and service across Fuerteventura.
