Tenerife midfielder Natalia Ramos has joined Liverpool FC after triggering the release clause in her contract with Costa Adeje Tenerife. The 24-year-old, from La Laguna, has been a key player for Costa Adeje since she joined the club at 14, shortly after its founding.
Ramos made her debut in the top division at just 16 years old and went on to become one of the club’s most prominent players, making 249 official appearances and scoring 23 goals. Aside from a season with Levante UD, she has spent her entire career with Costa Adeje.
On the international stage, she has represented Spain at various youth levels, winning a bronze medal at the 2016 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup and being a part of the U-19 European Championship winning team in 2017.
Ramos completed her time at Costa Adeje after an outstanding season, where she scored ten goals and provided five assists, helping the team achieve their best-ever finish of fourth in the Liga F Moeve.
Expressing her excitement about joining Liverpool, Ramos said, “I am very happy and grateful for this new opportunity.” She added that choosing to move to Liverpool was an easy decision for her.
