Fuerteventura Set for Occasional Drizzles and Stable Temperatures
The Canary Islands are currently experiencing a very moist low-pressure system from the Atlantic, resulting in significant rainfall across the western region. The Spanish meteorological agency, AEMET, has issued yellow and even orange weather warnings for precipitation.
Both Lanzarote and Fuerteventura are expected to face a grey day, with occasional light rain, although no heavy downpours are anticipated. The region will remain unseasonably warm for this time of year despite the dull weather.
Winds will be light, coming from the east, with some high-level haze expected to linger at least until Tuesday.
As for the sea conditions, waves may reach up to two metres in some areas off the northern and western coasts of Fuerteventura. In the east, the sea will be relatively calm, but bathers are advised to exercise caution.
