Currently, the affected trails include Montaña Blanca-La Rambleta, Teide-Pico Viejo, Telesforo Bravo, and others, due to the presence of ice and snow.

Rosa Dávila, the president of the Cabildo, urged residents to avoid unnecessary travel amid the adverse weather conditions. With a yellow weather warning in effect, particularly for the metropolitan area, heavy rainfall and stormy weather are expected.

All planned cultural and sports activities in the areas impacted have been cancelled. Dávila reminded the public to exercise caution, stay away from flood-prone areas, and refrain from visiting canyons during this period.
