Chefs & Golf event to take place in Puerto del Carmen on 2 November
The Chefs & Golf event will bring together renowned culinary figures in Puerto del Carmen on 2 November, featuring gourmet cuisine, discussions on the future of the industry, and a charity gala dinner.
Lanzarote is set to host its first Chefs & Golf event outside of the Iberian Peninsula, showcasing 12 Michelin-starred chefs and various entrepreneurs from the restaurant and tourism sectors at Lanzarote Golf.
Organised by Aylanz Hospitality Group and 360 Marketing and Events, in collaboration with the Cabildo de Lanzarote through Saborea Lanzarote, the event aims to enhance the island’s reputation as a gastronomic destination.
Participating chefs include Julián Mármol, Fran Martínez, Coco Montes, Óscar Velasco, Marcelo Tejedor, Eduardo Quintana, Sara Peral, Ricardo Sanz, and Alejandro Serrano, who will share their expertise with industry representatives.
The programme includes three panel discussions focusing on key challenges in gastronomy and hospitality. The first will explore how gourmet cuisine can boost tourism and create economic opportunities. The second will discuss attracting and retaining talent in the restaurant industry, with an emphasis on training and conditions. The final panel will examine the role of artificial intelligence and new technologies in enhancing hospitality management and services.
In addition to professional meetings, Chefs & Golf will feature a golf tournament and a Gastronomic Village to promote Lanzarote’s local products. The event will conclude with a charity gala dinner prepared by chefs Coco Montes, Julián Mármol, Cristóbal López, and Rayco Arbelo.
This event aligns with the Cabildo de Lanzarote’s strategy, through Saborea Lanzarote, to promote local gastronomy and showcase local producers while diversifying the island’s tourism offerings. Chefs & Golf aims to connect top chefs from across Spain with Lanzarote’s culinary and business sectors.
