TITSA will launch a special service this Sunday, August 16, to accommodate the Romería de San Roque in Garachico. The enhanced line 363 connects Puerto de la Cruz, Icod de los Vinos, Garachico, Los Silos, and Buenavista.
The public transport company, part of the Tenerife Cabildo, will add 23,000 extra spaces on this route throughout the day. Services will run from 09:30 until 23:00, with the last bus leaving Garachico for Puerto de la Cruz and Buenavista at that time.
Eulalia García, the Cabildo’s Mobility Councillor, noted that over 13,100 passengers used line 363 to attend the event in 2025, which is recognised as a National Tourist Interest. “This year, we are increasing both capacity and schedules to ensure residents and visitors can travel safely and comfortably to Garachico, especially given the expected heavy traffic,” she said.
As part of the mobility plan, standard bus stops in Garachico town centre will not be in use. All TITSA routes passing through the area will instead stop at a designated point near the car park next to the football pitch.
Traffic disruptions may occur on the TF-42 road between kilometres 0 and 7.8 during the festivities if significant delays arise. Public transport and freight vehicles will retain priority access.
