Temperatures are set to drop as light trade winds return, helping to clear the calima affecting Fuerteventura.
Wednesday is expected to be a hot day, with high temperatures reaching around 34 degrees Celsius in the central and southern areas of the island, accompanied by light northeasterly winds.
While the sea will be relatively calm, caution is advised, particularly along the northern and western coasts, where waves may reach 1.3 metres.
Health authorities urge residents to take precautions against the heat, especially for infants, the elderly, and those with respiratory conditions.
