Vivien Déniz Brings La condena de las Torres Bellas to Stage at El Almacén
This Friday, 24th July, CIC El Almacén will host an innovative presentation of Vivien Déniz’s novel La condena de las Torres Bellas. The author is transforming a traditional literary event into an interdisciplinary artistic experience. The event starts at 8:00 PM, and entry is free until capacity is reached.
The activity, organised by the Culture Department of the Cabildo de Lanzarote, aims to blend words, images, and performance. Déniz will collaborate with multidisciplinary artist Atchén Pounapal to explore the themes of the novel through various artistic expressions.
A Dialogue of Literature, Body, and Image
Islander Culture Councillor Jesús Machín Tavío praised the event’s originality, stating: “El Almacén’s programme supports initiatives that bridge different disciplines, inviting the audience to experience literature in a shared manner.”
The evening will feature live readings accompanied by audiovisual materials, delving into the book’s themes of identity, territory, and contemporary precarity.

The initiative seeks to engage audiences with a close, reflective approach, encouraging attendees to experience literature beyond traditional boundaries.
