Three People Charged for Walking on Busy Gran Canaria Dual Carriageway

The Local Police in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria have charged three individuals for walking along the median strip of the Avenida Marítima on Wednesday, near the Fuente Luminosa.
A police social media post featured a video showing the trio strolling between the palm trees that divide the traffic lanes on this section of the GC-1 road in the capital.
After being spotted by a security camera, a Traffic Unit promptly arrived to escort the pedestrians to safety, temporarily halting traffic on the busy dual carriageway.
Once safe, the three individuals were reported for creating a “serious risk.”
