Four Injured in Multi-Vehicle Accident in Playa Blanca
Four people were injured on Thursday in a multi-vehicle accident involving three cars on the LZ-2 road in Playa Blanca, as reported by the Emergency Coordination Centre (CECOES).
The incident occurred around 10:34 AM, prompting an immediate response from emergency services, which dispatched three ambulances, including one medicalised unit and two basic life support vehicles. Firefighters and Civil Guard officers also attended the scene.
Medical staff from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) treated the injured. A woman sustained a moderate chest trauma, while another man and woman suffered minor cervical injuries and contusions. All four were transported to José Molina Orosa Hospital for further care.
Firefighters ensured the safety of the vehicles and assisted with emergency operations, while the Civil Guard conducted necessary inquiries.
