A 25-year-old man suffered serious injuries in the early hours of Monday following a fall while riding an electric scooter in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, according to 1-1-2 Canarias.

Emergency services were alerted at around 12:18 AM about the incident, which occurred in the Las Torres neighbourhood.
Paramedics from the SUC attended to the man, who was found to have a severe head injury. He was subsequently transported to the Doctor Negrín University Hospital in a medical ambulance.
Local police are currently investigating the incident.
