The technical meeting focused on comparing tour operators’ demand forecasts with the island’s regular flight connections. The aim was to identify the strengths and areas for improvement for Fuerteventura as a destination based on the feedback from customers in various source markets.

Figueroa emphasized the importance of understanding tour operators’ and their clients’ views on Fuerteventura’s offerings to make informed decisions. “These meetings allow us to align our vision of the destination with the actual market perception,” she said.

The meeting also provided an opportunity to exchange insights about the upcoming winter season and factors affecting Fuerteventura’s demand in European markets. Figueroa noted that winter is a crucial time for the island and collaboration with European operators helps identify areas that need reinforcement and opportunities for improvement.
