The Canary Islands’ Emergency Coordination Centre (CECOES) received the alert at 10:19. After assessing the situation, the operations room coordinated a response from various emergency teams. Firefighters from the Tenerife Consortium located the exact site of the accident, secured the area, and offered logistical support to the wider operation on the road.

Given the patient’s condition, the coordinator of the Canary Emergency Service (SUC) requested a medical helicopter along with an ambulance. Upon arriving at the scene, medical personnel assessed the motorcyclist, confirming he sustained multiple serious injuries. After initial stabilisation on-site, he was airlifted to the University Hospital of the Canary Islands for specialised treatment.

The operation was rounded off with assistance from local police and the Civil Guard, who worked with the Roads Service to manage traffic, secure the area during the helicopter’s landing, and gather information to clarify the circumstances surrounding the accident.
