From 23 to 25 October, the Tenerife Exhibition Centre will host the fifth edition of ADIMAKER, a leading 3D printing fair in the Canary Islands. Entry to the event is free.
Under the theme ‘Fabricando Futuro’ (Manufacturing the Future), the fair will feature three days of activities with over 30 brands, makers, and speakers participating in talks, masterclasses, and specialised workshops.
This year, highlights include an open roundtable discussing the convergence of 3D printing and artificial intelligence, alongside a competition for 3D printed props, which will showcase the entries on display.
An exclusive morning session for educational institutions is also scheduled for Friday, with numerous school groups already signed up for free visits.
Lope Afonso, Vice President of the Cabildo, commented that “this initiative promotes technology linked to entrepreneurship in the archipelago,” adding that ADIMAKER strengthens Tenerife’s position as a hub for technological innovation. He noted the positive impact of local talent and new digital manufacturing tools on the economy, particularly in generating qualified jobs.
Manuel Fernández, the industry councillor, praised the fair’s role in energising the industrial and creative sectors. He emphasised that 3D printing is not just the future but a present filled with opportunities for businesses, freelancers, and creators. He highlighted the event as a valuable space for fostering innovation and knowledge transfer.
Attendees will see large-format pieces on display, including a Batmobile, the Ghostbusters vehicle, a giant shark, a two-metre tall Pokémon model, and a 1.5-metre tall 360-degree ballerina.
