This year’s event, which has again attracted a maximum of 250 cyclists, will cover a distance of 85 kilometres across twelve municipalities, including Puerto de la Cruz, La Orotava, and Adeje.

Attendance at the launch included key figures such as Yolanda Moliné, the Sports Councillor of the Cabildo; Ricardo Fernández de la Puente, the director of Institutional Relations at Loro Parque; Adriano Cordovés, president of the Loro Parque Los Silos Natural Cycling Club; and José Manuel Blandón from the Canary Cycling Federation.

Councillor Moliné described the event as special for local sport, recognising its 18-year legacy as a benchmark in the island’s sporting calendar. She highlighted the commitment of the local council and expressed gratitude to volunteers and collaborators who help make the event possible.

Fernández de la Puente noted the significance of this year’s edition, reinforcing that cycling upholds values such as effort and respect for the environment, which align with Loro Parque’s ethos. He celebrated the event’s popularity, with the participant limit reached once again.

The ride will commence from Loro Parque at 8:30 am, proceeding at a steady pace for cyclists of varying skill levels, concluding at Siam Park. Participants can use road, gravel, mountain, and e-bikes, and post-ride, they can enjoy the park’s attractions along with the chance to win various prizes and recognitions for the youngest and oldest cyclists.

Safety is a priority, with the Civil Guard and numerous volunteers on hand throughout the route. Support vehicles will be available for mechanical issues or for cyclists needing a lift.

Participants will have access to refreshments at multiple points during the race, with additional food and drinks offered at the finish line. This year, cyclists will receive a complimentary pass to Siam Park, valid for the event day or until late 2026, along with secure bicycle storage.

The event is made possible through the support of Loro Parque, Siam Park, the Cabildo de Tenerife, and local municipalities, alongside various sponsoring businesses.
