The extraordinary meeting of the Canary Islands People’s Party (PP) management board on Wednesday afternoon appointed María Jesús Tovar as the new head of the party’s management committee in Lanzarote. She takes over from Astrid Pérez, who was removed from her position by regional president Manuel Domínguez.
