A driverless truck crashed into the gate of the Army Air Base on the Paseo de Chil in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria on Friday morning. According to local police, the accident occurred because the parking brake was not properly engaged.

The vehicle rolled down from the sloped Chopín Street, crossed both lanes of Paseo de Chil, and then collided with the gate.
Traffic officers were dispatched to the scene, where it was confirmed that only material damages were reported, with no injuries to anyone involved.
