Emergency Roadworks Begin on TF-134 in Anaga Following Storm Therese Damage
The Cabildo de Tenerife has commenced emergency repairs on the TF-134 road near Roque de las Bodegas in the Anaga massif, within the municipality of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, following damage caused by Storm Therese. Work started today, 15 October, and is expected to continue until 28 December.
The repairs will take place between kilometres 4.250 and 4.700, focused on restoring safety and functionality to this section of the road. The project includes enhancements to a cross drainage system located at kilometre 4.500, which will necessitate special traffic management measures.
Traffic restrictions will be in place affecting both lanes of the TF-134. A regulated alternating traffic system using traffic lights will be implemented to allow vehicles to pass through the area in both directions. The work zone will be clearly marked to ensure the safety of both road users and construction personnel.
Señalizaciones Villar will carry out the repairs as part of broader efforts to address the damage from adverse weather associated with Storm Therese. Drivers are advised to exercise caution, adhere to temporary signage, and follow traffic guidance during the works.
