Arrecife en Vivo 2026: A Record-Breaking Festival Day
Arrecife, Lanzarote, witnessed a hugely successful Arrecife en Vivo festival on its most crowded day yet. After thirteen years, the event has firmly gained recognition among locals, with thousands dancing and celebrating through the city streets.
The day’s festivities featured a vibrant street parade led by the group Psycho Clown, transforming the city into a lively celebration. Musicians and local shopkeepers even joined in, creating an engaging, interactive atmosphere for everyone in attendance.
Dynamic Performances from The Anger Price and MFC Chicken
The music kicked off with the Navarrese band The Anger Price, offering an electrifying mix of hard rock and rap. Their performance attracted a large crowd at La Plazuela, drawing in families, tourists, and young people alike.
Next, the British group MFC Chicken brought their upbeat rock and roll to Charco de San Ginés. Their spirited R&B show delighted concert-goers of all ages, who eagerly recorded the celebratory parade from the stage.
Chambao Closes an Unforgettable Event
As the crowd made their way to Marina Lanzarote, guitarist Alfredo Piedrafita performed hits from the band Barricada, culminating in a powerful rendition of the anthem “Blanco y Negro.”
The acclaimed group Chambao celebrated their 25th anniversary, with lead vocalist La Mari mingling with the enthusiastic crowd. Local guitarist Tony Cantero joined the band, enhancing the unforgettable experience. The night concluded with independent electronic music from producer Laiv.
