The Tegueste Town Council has unveiled plans for this year’s Día de Ánimas, set for Friday, 30 October. The event promises a range of activities designed for all ages, with a focus on entertainment and community engagement.
Organised by the local Youth Department, the initiative has received support from the Local Development Department and the Tenerife Council, through its 2026 Youth Program.
During the launch, Tegueste’s mayor, Norberto Padilla, emphasised the council’s commitment to creating spaces for residents to come together, particularly for young people and families. He also expressed gratitude to the Tenerife Council for its support and acknowledged the efforts of the municipal departments involved in combining leisure, tradition, and community spirit.
Youth Councillor Elena Perdomo highlighted the aim of creating an appealing programme for children and young people, with activities designed for family and friends to enjoy. She stressed the importance of providing spaces for leisure, participation, and expression for the youth.
Events will take place at various locations throughout Tegueste, including the Casa Prebendado Pacheco, the area surrounding the Town Hall, and San Marcos Square.
