Tenerife’s luck continues as the National Lottery draw on Saturday, October 3, awarded a second prize on the island, as reported by Loterías y Apuestas del Estado.
The winning number for the first prize was 5567, which earned its holder €12,006. The ticket was purchased at the Punta Larga shopping centre in Candelaria.
The first prize was also claimed in Pontevedra, Madrid, and Málaga. Meanwhile, the second prize was sold in Cádiz, Navarra, and Guipúzcoa.
Participants in the National Lottery select a five-digit number (known as a décimo) to enter. Tickets can be chosen manually or automatically generated. Each ticket price varies: €3 for Thursday draws, €6 for ordinary Saturday draws, €12 or €15 for special Saturday draws, and €20 for extraordinary draws.
Winners receive prizes based on their numbers matching those drawn, including different categories such as first and second prizes.
