La Palma Fashion Week 2026 kicked off on Friday at the Benahoarita Archaeological Museum in Los Llanos de Aridane, showcasing two days dedicated to author fashion under the theme “Beauty is reborn without limits.”

The first day featured a collective catwalk from Adlib Ibiza, including brands such as Mónica Maxim Ibiza, Ibimoda, S72 Hat, and Tony Bonet. The event highlighted collaborations with BAN (Isla Bonita Moda) and Mignono from Lanzarote, alongside other designers representing Gran Canaria and La Gomera.

The programme also included emerging talent Zahy in partnership with the Manolo Blahnik Art School, where students presented their work in a professional setting overseen by lecturer Verania Sánchez.

An exhibition at the Benahoarita Museum showcased creations from various brands linked to Isla Bonita Moda, including Mararte and D’Andrea Joyas. This expanded the Fashion Week experience beyond the catwalk and highlighted the island’s creative talents.

The opening of this edition underscores Isla Bonita Moda’s ongoing commitment to fostering connections among industry professionals and creating collaborative opportunities within the fashion sector.

Model and presenter José Toledo, who leads the initiative, hosted the inaugural day. Special guests included fashion designer Carmen Farala and businesswoman Rocío Martín Berrocal.

The involvement of fashion figures and industry professionals, such as designer Juan Duyos and Sergio Álvarez from the Fashion Academy of Spain, enhanced the event’s significance.

LPFW26 is also supported by various entities, including Canarias Islas de Moda, which promotes canarian brands internationally, and Sebastian Professional, providing backstage support.

La Palma Fashion Week aims to connect island talent with wider fashion networks across Spain, encouraging collaboration and visibility for contemporary regional designs.

The programme continues today with more shows featuring new talents and brands affiliated with Isla Bonita Moda.

Miriam Perestelo, the island’s Economic Promotion Councillor, emphasised the need for fashion to drive economic activity and professional opportunities on La Palma. She remarked, “Fashion Week reflects our efforts to support our brands and professionals while demonstrating that we are building a thriving industry that can grow beyond our island.”
