Three people were seriously injured in a road accident on the FV-2 road in Tuineje, near the Tarajalejo valley, at around 4:05 PM.

Emergency services found a 64-year-old woman with severe abdominal trauma. She was flown by helicopter to the General Hospital of Fuerteventura. A 75-year-old man also suffered from serious chest pain and was transported by ambulance to the same hospital. Another 75-year-old man experienced severe abdominal injuries and was taken to the hospital in a basic life support ambulance.
The Guardia Civil is investigating the incident, with assistance from local police who helped facilitate the helicopter’s landing and take-off. Road maintenance staff were called in to clear the route.
